Souvenir Pack Meatballs and Mulled Wine
Description
In Romania, meatballs are an essential part of the kitchen and are prepared at home quite frequently with simple ingredients. The ceramic recipient comes in a wooden box.
Recipe
- 1 kg of minced pork or mixed with beef
- two eggs
- two medium onions finely chopped
- a medium-sized carrot grated or finely chopped
- a thick slice of bread soaked in water beforehand
- flour
- 25g seasoning for meatballs.
Mix all the ingredients well, then portion the composition thus obtained and form the meatballs. Dust them with flour, flatten them and fry them in hot oil. The recipe varies from region to region. Generally, after they are formed, the meatballs are fried in hot oil until they become golden brown and tender, but in some areas of the country they are also baked in the oven or boiled in tomato sauce to accentuate their taste and make them juicier.

salt, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, water, salt, yeast), powdered mustard, sweet paprika, black pepper, parsley, dill, thyme, garlic.

Mulled wine is one of the most beloved traditional drinks in Romania in the cold season, when it brings joy and warmth to people’s souls. The mixture for mulled wine was created by Fuchs Condimente in Curtea de Argeș, and using this mixture to prepare mulled wine is a tradition in itself. The ceramic recipient comes in a wooden box.
Recipe
- 1 liter of red wine
- 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey
- 1 generous tablespoon of Fuchs Mulled Wine Mixture
- One sliced orange
The spice is heated slightly over the heat to release the complex flavors, the wine is poured over, along with sugar or honey to taste, and then the drink is slowly warmed without boiling to allow the spices to release their full flavors.
