Cevapcici, also known as „mititei”, are a culinary delight appreciated in Romania, being an important part of the traditional cuisine. The tradition of preparing and eating mititei is closely related to summer, outdoor barbecues and festive events. From weekend backyard barbecues to food fairs and festivals across the country, the mititei are always present and appreciated by food lovers. Our Romanian mititei recipe is easy to prepare:
Recipe
- 1 kg of minced meat mix, beef, pork or mutton
- 20 g of this seasoning
- 10 g of sodium bicarbonate
- 50ml of water
Mix all the ingredients together, and from this composition, form about 15-20 rolls, which you can prepare on the grill or in the pan.
